At Haag-Streit, we understand how important it is for your clinic or practice to run seamlessly without interruption to your service. While we are proud to say that our products are the gold standard, naturally, service issues can still arise, which may lead to your equipment needing to be repaired by a service expert.

If you have an issue with your device and don’t have an existing service contract, our service engineers can come and undertake a one-off callout to give your device a full inspection and endeavour to fix the issue on-site, resulting in minimal downtime.

Support Package

Our Service contracts: Gold, Silver & Bronze

When you purchase a Haag-Streit device, you are given the opportunity to add-on a Support Package and benefit from fully transparent annual service costs. We offer three standard service contracts: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Some contracts include an annual service visit where a Field Service Engineer will come to your premises and undertake a full service of the equipment covered by your contract. These contracts also include a pre-defined number of repair, service, or support visits to ensure your equipment is always in full working order.

Spare parts

Fast access to genuine spare parts

Purchasing genuine Haag-Streit parts, be it a light bulb, a fuse, or a screw, is the best way to ensure optimum performance of your device. We provide fast access to customer installable replacement parts.

Remember, you can only purchase Haag-Streit manufacturer officially approved authentic spare parts directly from Haag-Streit. Non-manufacturer-approved spare parts will not be compatible or compliant with Haag-Streit's equipment standards and specifications. You may also face quality issues, such as defects, failures, or damages, that can affect the performance and, more importantly, the safety of your device.

Extended Warranty

Up to five years on all Haag-Streit devices

If you are looking for a simple, cost-effective way to protect your investment, our Extended Manufacturing Warranty is the perfect option. All Haag-Streit devices are provided with a two-year warranty, as standard. Haag-Streit is now offering the option to take out an extended warranty against any manufacturing defects for up to five years, with up to ten years offered for specific solutions.

Health Check package

Avoid unforeseen defects, repairs, & costs

A Health Check visit will uncover any potential problems with a device. It can reduce the risk of future equipment failure and downtime, and costly repairs. In addition, it also ensures that the device performs in accordance with required Haag-Streit manufacturer standards and specifications.

Haag-Streit is proud to have a wide network of certified service technicians. These skilled engineers are on-hand to perform a comprehensive Health Check.

A Health Check involves a thorough audit of your Haag-Streit device to obtain a full overview of its condition, an examination of its functionality, and a quote to replace any necessary worn or damaged parts.

Service contracts for furniture

Haag-Streit provides a range of tables and furniture which are specifically designed for your biometer. Once you have selected your chosen table, this can be included as part of your service contract, along with your device.

Your table needs to remain in optimal condition to fully-support your ophthalmic device. A service contract will provide cover in case of any failure, ensuring there is minimal disruption to your clinic or your patients.

IT & networking services

Remote service, DICOM support & database recovery

Our service engineers are highly trained to offer a remote diagnostic service as well as DICOM support. Our experts can provide both remote and onsite assistance, from initial set-up to troubleshooting. In addition, our database recovery service help customers to repair or recover a damaged or corrupted database so you won’t lose your valuable data.

Haag-Streit provides professional and effective EyeSuite support. Delivered onsite or remotely, we support you so that you can fully benefit from our latest releases while focusing on your clinical practice. Available for the Lenstar, our Upgrade Kits allow you to enhance your device so that it not only lasts for longer but allows you to take advantage of new technologies and materials. Each Upgrade Kit contains compatible components that can be easily exchanged, either at our Service Center or at your site.
