What is Database Recovery?

The Database Recovery service helps repair or recover a damaged or corrupt database installed on a Haag-Streit device. Because data is often more valuable than hardware itself, our specialists work to restore access whenever possible.

Please note: recovery cannot always be guaranteed, as the outcome depends on the level of damage, the availability of a backup, and the condition of the affected hardware.

  • Software updates or upgrades
  • Wear parts, spare parts, & consumables
  • Travel costs & expenses
  • Transport costs, taxes, or duties

Database Recovery portfolio

Database Recovery is available for all Haag-Streit diagnostic systems with a supported EyeSuite version. This includes:

  • Coverage from delivery until end of support
  • Service available in-house or remotely
  • For databases larger than 300 GB: customers must send the data on an external SSD to Haag-Streit (with at least 3× the database size as storage space), ensuring safe handling & sufficient capacity.

This offering ensures your diagnostic data remains protected throughout the lifecycle of your device.

How does it work?

Our service is carried out by Haag-Streit product engineers who attempt to repair or recover the damaged database. Professional labor time is included as part of the service.
