Octopus & HFA printouts

Flexibility for your practice

Octopus printouts

Standard printouts for any situation

Review visual field data in the format you're familiar with from your Octopus Perimeter. All Octopus Perimeters offer the standard 7-in-1 printout with the familiar presentation, customizable 4-in-1 printout, series views, and much more

HFA-style printouts

For transitioning from HFA

All Octopus Perimeter can be switched to HFA mode anytime. In that mode, the various representations are calculated using the formulae and representations in HFA style. The Single Field Analysis thus includes the HFA Grayscale, Total Deviation and Pattern Deviation displays.

User-defined view

Full viewing flexibility

The user-defined printout allows free selection of eight visual field representations including Cluster and Polar Analysis for structure-function correlation.

Perimetry Interpretation Aid

Guided visual field interpretation

Mastering visual field interpretation requires training and practice. To support visual field analysis, Octopus perimeters offer the Perimetry Interpretation Aid (PIA). Using this built-in tool, any visual field can be reviewed following a guided step-by-step process that includes useful background information and tips and tricks.

Navigation between fields

Results viewer

The results viewer supports the navigation between fields and viewing options. With the navigation panel on the left, past field can be selected and reviewed in the results panel in the middle. The viewing options panel on the right allows selection of all available printouts.
Flexible single field display

User-defined view

With the user-defined view, eight different representations can be freely chosen. For glaucoma practices, the use of the Cluster and Polar Analysis for structure-function comparison is highly recommended.
Standard display of results

7-in-1 view

The 7-in-1 view is the standard view of the Octopus perimeter including Grayscale, Comparisons and Probabilities representations. The Defect Curve supports identification of diffuse loss.
Identification of visual field change

Series view

In the series view, three customizable representations can be tracked over time to look for visual field change.
Identification of left-right symmetries

Both eyes view

The both eyes view shows a left and right visual field next to each other for identification of left right symmetries. It is the standard view to assess chiasmal and post-chiasmal defects.
Full field view

Single eye view

The single eye view displays one visual field at maximum magnification. This supports reviewing full field visual field tests like the binocular Esterman test in detail.
HFA representations and calculations

HFA-mode

All Octopus perimeters can be switched to HFA mode anytime. In that mode, various representations are calculated using the formulae and representations of the HFA perimeter. The Single Field Analysis thus includes the HFA Grayscale, Standard Deviation and Pattern Deviation displays as well as MD and PSD. The HFA-mode is available for all viewing options.
