Our jury painstakingly searched through over 300 images submitted from around the world to find their winner, which for 2023 is Pia Emilia Lohri from Lucerne Cantonal Hospital, Switzerland. Her winning image, like all our winning entries, was taken with the Haag-Streit BX 900 Imaging System. The stunning shot scored highly on all three winning criteria: image quality, technical execution, and disease interest, and was praised by our jury for its “simply perfect” execution.
