Both in clinical settings and in the practice of the practicing physician, examining patients in wheelchairs presents a special challenge to the examiner and particularly to the design of the examination unit. DOMS TELECENTRIC excite 'hp' is a special version. Equipped with all the advantages of the DOMS TELECENTRIC excite, the 'hp' type is specially designed for examining wheelchair patients. Available in two versions: 'Chair Movement' type and 'Chair Lift' type.

The newly developed synchronous height adjustment of the telescopic table + phoropter + desk allows for easy adjustment of the diagnostic devices for patients seated in wheelchairs. The patient can remain seated in the wheelchair for examination and does not need to be transferred awkwardly to the unit chair (and back).

The large adjustment range of the base unit (device table + phoropter) is 700 - 900 mm. Particularly advantageous is the lowest position of the device table at 700 mm. This proves to be helpful when examining patients in wheelchairs. The hp version has an additional safety shutdown for the lifting movement of the device table. The unit can be automatically returned to the normal center position with the press of a button. The desk moves synchronously between 600 - 800 mm.
