Trade fair highlight at the American Academy of Ophthalmology

New training concept
At this year's American Academy of Ophthalmology Congress in Chicago, one of the world's largest ophthalmology congresses, the Haag-Streit Group presented a training room with Eyesi simulators and Hi-R NEO 900 microscopes for practicing procedures on simulators and artificial eyes. The combination of high-tech simulators and traditional training methods was compelling: many visitors came and held intensive discussions with colleagues on site. «Several doctors told me that our training center was the highlight of the trade fair!» recounts Cordelia Pawlik, Sales Support Specialist Simulation, with satisfaction.

Closer cooperation with training institutions
Last year, Haag-Streit in the USA began working more closely with training institutions and developing concepts for training rooms, such as with the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, USA. Haag-Streit’s first trade fair appearance as a provider of integrated training solutions met with great interest – a success that we will continue to build on!
