By activating a third infrared LED ring, the Lenstar 900 now captures 16 additional measurement points, increasing the total to 48. This expanded data set allows for the calculation of an axial curvature-like map of the central 3mm zone of the anterior cornea. The cornea map visualizes the regularity and symmetry of astigmatism, providing valuable decision support in selecting the appropriate toric IOL for each patient.
