The Refractor 900 is a digital phoropter. The near-silent motor supports ultra-fast lens changes, and all lens adjustments can be made comfortably using the control panel or via a web controller. 

Refractor 900 enables the user to import objective refraction data from peripheral devices via a converter box or an EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system. The export of the subjective refraction data to an EMR system can be done via a serial port or Ethernet connection. 

The values for the sphere and cylinder can be adjusted increments of 1/8, 1/4, and whole diopters.

Spherical power is between +20 and -20 dpt. Cylinder power is between 0 and +/- 8 dpt.

Patient-touchable parts, such as the forehead rest, must be disinfected prior to every new patient examination to prevent transmission of infections. 

For other parts of the device, regular dusting is sufficient. More stubborn dirt can be removed using a clean towel dampened with water or alcohol at a maximum of 70%. We recommend cleaning the complete device once per week.

For the control panel, fingerprints and dust on the touch display can be removed using a display towel or a damp cloth.
